TOGETHER WITH
Good morning, Swansea! This is the Swansea Scoop, the local newsletter that's like finding a rope swing in the woods 😊
I’ve been reliably informed by the Magic 8 Ball that blue skies and sunshine will be back very soon (“Yes, definitely”) - perfect timing, because there’s plenty to enjoy outdoors this week, including supercars at Swansea Airport, Clyne in Bloom, and Wales on Wheels in the city centre.
All that, plus a Cluedo mystery, Clinton Baptiste, The Wind in the Willows, and loads more.
Whatever you're up to, have a good one and I'll catch you on Wednesday!
Andrew.

Wales on Wheels Returns to Swansea! 🚗🏍️🚌
On Saturday May 9th, the National Waterfront Museum is hosting a free celebration of transport - Wales on Wheels will see around 80 classic and vintage cars, motorbikes, buses, and trucks will fill Dylan Thomas Square from 10 AM - 4 PM.
The Tramshed will also be open, home to a reconstruction of the original Mumbles Train - the world's first ever passenger railway which ran from 1807.
Plus, inside the museum on Saturday and Sunday, the Waterfront Vintage & Makers Market brings vintage goodies ranging from the 1930s to the 1980s, plus a selection of crafts from local makers - the perfect opportunity to find one-off items to treasure.
Grab the family and head down for what promises to be a great day, whatever the weather!
WEDNESDAY'S SCOOP (ICYMI) 🦢

This week, we tried something new - a Plan Ahead edition of the mid-week Scoop to let you know about some of the bigger stuff happening in and around Swansea at the start of each month - so you've got time to get organised (and hopefully buy tickets before things sell out!).
The usual Sunday round-up isn't going anywhere, this will just sit alongside it.
