WEDNESDAY'S SCOOP (ICYMI) 🦢

In July 1903, four special trains carrying around 800 people and 500 horses rolled into Swansea.

They belonged to Buffalo Bill and one of the biggest travelling shows in the world, fronted by a man whose name was already famous on both sides of the Atlantic.

For two days, Victoria Park became the centre of a spectacle like Swansea had never seen before - and arguably hasn’t seen since.

This week, we look back at the extraordinary visit that brought Buffalo Bill and the Wild West to Swansea.

🏗️ St David's car park is being demolished, but its signs have been saved by Swansea Museum.

🚌 A major overhaul of Swansea's bus network has been pushed back to 2028, after originally being planned to begin next year.

🎤 Belfast-Derry hip-hop trio Kneecap have announced a stop in Swansea on their FENIAN world tour, playing Swansea Building Society Arena on Monday, December 7th.

🏆 Swansea Marina bar and restaurant The Swigg has picked up a Gold Seal in the Good Food Awards 2026/27.
