ABBEY PLAYERS’ BIG SHOW

Abbey Players got in touch recently to tell us about their upcoming production of Les Miserables at Swansea Grand Theatre. It’s a pretty special one.
The show’s original producer, Cameron Mackintosh, has never released the rights to adult amateur companies before - and Abbey Players are one of only 11 companies in the UK and the only one in Wales to get the opportunity.
The local society is collaborating with Swansea Amateur Operatic Society and Cockett AOS for the production, featuring amateur performers from right across South Wales.
"Let the People Sing" promises to be a memorable celebration of one of musical theatre's greatest hits, celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Got a local story about someone doing something cool or interesting in Swansea? Reply and tell us all about it - we might just feature it here!
