TOGETHER WITH

Good morning, Swansea! This is the Swansea Scoop - the local newsletter that's like having made it through the 697 days of January 2026 - we did it! 😄

There's plenty happening around town this week - everything from live comedy by Welsh Jesus, to Six Nations on the big screen (with bingo!), the last chance to catch a Richard Burton exhibition, tea dancing, poetry slams, and loads more.

Whatever you're up to, have a good one and I'll catch you on Wednesday!

Andrew.

P.S. Know someone else who’d enjoy the Scoop? Please forward this email to them and ask them to subscribe free here 🙂

Ever Wondered What You Could Make With a 3D Printer?

The answer: just about anything! Custom toys for the kids, replacement parts for around the house, unique gifts, creative projects - the possibilities are endless.

Pop down to 3DFLO - Swansea and Wales' first dedicated 3D printing hub, newly opened at the Enterprise Park in Llansamlet.

Started by James, a former police sergeant who saw how confusing 3D printing can be for beginners, 3DFLO is different. You'll get friendly advice without the jargon, and ongoing support before and after you buy.

In-store and online, 3DFLO stocks leading brands like Creality and Flashforge, plus quality filaments, tools and accessories.

Whether you're after your first 3D printer or just curious about the technology - head down to the shop to see the printers in action and chat through your options.

📍 3DFLO: Unit 12, Tower Court St Davids Road, Swansea Enterprise Park, SA6 8RU | Open Mon–Tue 9–6, Thu–Fri 9–5, Sat–Sun 10–4

WEDNESDAY'S SCOOP (ICYMI) 🦢

Tucked away in Mumbles, a local artist is building large, textured works inspired by the movement and power of the sea.

Jo Frost creates mixed-media paintings that are sculpted, layered, and worked back by hand. From plaster relief and metallic leaf to resin finishes, each piece is built to capture the energy of a scene.

We sat down with Jo to talk about leaving teaching, working at scale, and why the coast continues to shape everything she makes.
