Swansea Food & Drink Festival is back in less than two weeks!

After a hugely successful debut last year, the Swansea Food & Drink Festival is returning to the city centre! The first of two 2026 weekends kicks off this month, taking over Oxford Street, Princess Way and Portland Street from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th March.

Head down for three days of street food from around the world, craft drinks, artisan bakes, sweet treats, unique handmade goods, and more.

Entry is free (no tickets needed) and it’s dog friendly - just turn up hungry!

  • Friday & Saturday: 10 AM – 7 PM

  • Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM

Can't make this one? There's a second food festival weekend coming August 7th - 9th (mark your diary!)

WEDNESDAY'S SCOOP (ICYMI) 🦢

“Preparing for War” presentation

At the bottom of West Cross, tucked next to the TA Centre and hidden from the road, there's a squat concrete building that's barely changed since the 1950s - and most people don’t know it’s even there.

But behind those walls is Swansea's very own nuclear bunker - the place local officials planned to run the city from if the bombs ever fell. This week, we go inside.

Swansea Scoop Dinner Club: Now with Plus Ones!

Over 40 locals are already signed up for March! 🍴

After the first Swansea Scoop Dinner Club in February, the number one question I got asked was “can I bring a friend or partner, and can we sit together?”

By popular demand, you can now bring a plus-one to our next dinner on Wednesday, March 25th. Simply add them during booking and you’ll both be guaranteed a spot at the same table.

(Solo diners, don’t worry! The heart of the Scoop Dinner Club is still about meeting new people, and since the majority of our 40+ sign-ups are coming solo, you definitely won't be the odd one out. We're also being very careful about trying not to match solo diners at a table with two couples - no one wants an accidental “triple date”!) 😊

A reminder of how the Dinner Club works:

  • Fill out a quick quiz and we’ll match you with five other Swansea locals for a meal at a city centre restaurant (revealed the morning of the event).

  • Enjoy great food and easy conversation, followed by optional drinks with all the tables at a surprise bar nearby.

  • 🎟️ Booking is £9.95 to cover the matching and reservations, then you just pay for your own meal on the night. We handle the admin - you just turn up and have fun!

Looking to meet lovely new Swansea people outside your usual circles? Join the 40+ people who have already secured their seats 👇

Can't make March? Drop your email at the link above and I'll let you know about the April date.

🎟️ There’s still time to enter and win two tickets to a six-course French Dinner at Full of Graze in Mumbles, courtesy of top Welsh chef Tom Martin, owner of Bohémien.
